Strategy and Briefing:
It may be difficult to pace the initial 6 Rounds in this Breathe & Burn workout. You want to keep something in the tank to attack the Thrusters at the end — but also have enough time to do a good number. Best is to land somewhere in between. Start this workout as you would any other 20 minute AMRAP, and hold the pace. Keep sets unbroken & smooth, with breathing to match. To control the pace, take a few deep breaths before starting the next movement & round. This will optimize for time/gas for the Thrusters. Once you get to the Thrusters, throw caution to the wind and PUSH into fatigue. It will hurt, but it’s a huge payoff if you do it right … A good score!
Levels Consideration: Lactic Tolerance, UB Push, Weightlifting
Goal: 20 Thrusters
