A linear progression will take you a LONG way in developing strength. It serves as the foundation upon which athleticism and fitness are built. More importantly everyday tasks like carrying your kids or your groceries gets a heck of a lot easier. Most important of all, it keeps you out of the nursing home.
What’s a macro? Macro is short for macronutrient: a substance required in relatively large amounts, by living organisms in particular. Counting macros doesn’t have to be complicated. Macronutrients are molecules that our bodies use to create energy for themselves – primarily fat, protein and carbohydrates.
As science progresses humans are living longer and longer lives. I imagine, in the not so distant future, we’ll see people as old as 150. However, even as the length of our lives increases chronic disease is at an all time high.
What I fear is living to 130 but being diagnosed with some terrible disease that takes my independence at 80. That’s 50 years of nursing home slop, someone else wiping my butt, and boredom. No thanks.
