Comparing the Locomotion Fitness Offerings

Truth: we are all awesomely unique, with individual needs, interests, schedules, goals, and so much more! At Loco we recognize that all of the things that make you, YOU, also make a huge difference when it comes to your training. That’s why we offer three different training styles: group classes, small group personal training, and 1 to 1 personal training.

In our group classes, members train with up to 14 people at a time in a supportive and high-energy atmosphere. Group classes are a great way to get an awesome workout, learn new skills, and celebrate progress as a community!  We offer several types of group classes geared towards all athletes and designed to build functional fitness – being strong, fit, flexible, and ready for whatever life throws at you!

  • Strength Train focuses on conventional and non-traditional strength-building exercises, including barbell work, odd-object carries, sled work, kettlebells, and much more.
  • Bootcamp classes offer a circuit-style format, combining strength and cardio training for a well-rounded workout that will really push your endurance.
  • CrossFit classes are great for athletes who are ready to push their fitness to the next level with a constantly varied mix of weightlifting, gymnastics skills, and cardio. 
  • Flow, Power, and Rest & Recover Yoga classes are the perfect balance to your strength-building routine. 

Our small-group “semi-private” personal training is done in groups of up to 4 members and is designed to give you the benefits of personalized attention and guidance from our amazing trainers, who can customize each workout to suit your specific goals, fitness level, and individual considerations. 

With a smaller group size, your trainer is able to closely monitor your form and technique, and adjust movements on the fly so that you get the most out of every session. Additionally, athletes in semi-private training often form lasting friendships with their fellow group-members, giving these sessions a social, team feeling while also helping to keep you accountable and on track with your fitness journey. If you’re looking to make big gains in your fitness level, receive personalized attention, and stay motivated to reach your goals, this style of training is an all-around great option.

And while the majority of our members find what they’re looking for in either our group classes or small-group personal training, 1-to-1 personal training is also an option for those who have a specific training goal, are training for an event or competition, or are working to rehab an injury. 

Whichever training style you decide to go with, there’s a Loco program for everyone. Each class offers unique benefits and challenges, and trying out different types of training can help you find the routine that works best for you.
