LOCO ANNOUNCEMENT

Park Circle Boot Camp Free Trial Monday

Friends make fitness more fun than it already is! Every Monday is free trial day for our Boot Camp classes. Free trial classes are available to local first timers only. Classes are held in the new air conditioned space at 5:30 am, 9:30 am and 6:00 pm. See you there!

Some of you have asked how to sign up if you are already a Cross Fit or yoga member. You can always use, and share (hint, hint…) this link to sign up for the free trial class. The class should appear on your ZenPlanner app as “Free Trial Monday”. Your free trial class is available to you until you use it and should appear on your app until you’ve used your one one class. Should you have any issues with this, or it is not working for you, please reach out to us via email, Facebook or texting us at (843)-510-6403. **Please note, if you have unsubscribed from text messages with us, we will not be able to respond to your message via text!

 

Reminder: Monthly Business Owner’s Meeting

The October business owner’s meet-up will be this Monday, October 7th at 7:00 pm at the Loco Garage Gym. See you there!

The first Monday of each Month we will meet up either at the gym or a local restaurant. Each meeting will have a specific topic (complete with handouts and action steps!) relating to being entrepreneurial business owners. The purpose of these meet-ups is not to sell to each other but to trouble-shoot together, brainstorm ideas and talk about what works, what hasn’t and what might! I’ll make sure to post the location we choose each month ahead of time – but go ahead and mark your calendars for the first Monday of every month at 7pm. Monday WOD

A.) “Shock Absorber”

For Time:

  1. 30 Squat Clean 75/55
  2. 30 Burpee Over Bar
  3. 60 Box Jumps 24/20
  4. 30 Burpee Over Bar
  5. 30 Squat Clean 75/55

Level Consideration: Weightlifting, API

Strategy and Briefing: Legs & Lungs are tested in this Breathe & Burn workout.  From the start be conservative — a little slower on the Squat Cleans with focus on smooth technique.  Going even a little too quick on these will have a major effect on the remainder of the workout. Continue onto the Burpees & Box Jumps,  focusing on one rep at a time. Keep breath consistent & in rhythm with your movement, to maintain pace. There are 120 reps between both sets of Burpees & the Box Jumps,  so do not rush it. On the final Squat Cleans, push the pace and finish strong.
