Park Circle Boot Camp Member Spotlight: Kimberly A

This is our first ever Park Circle Boot Camp Member Spotlight.  Park Circle Boot Camp is an hour long HIIT class (not CrossFit) that leaves you with that post workout glow.  It’s perfect for anyone looking to lean out, improve cardio, and most importantly, HAVE SOME FUN!

About Me

 

I’m a native Marylander, who also spent 10 years in California before making Charleston my home in 2004. I work at MUSC and love my job, especially because it affords me such a great work/life balance. My husband, Rob, and I have been married since 2006. I love a good beach day, outdoor festivals, really good wine and champagne, and sushi! I’m a firm believer in always finding the positive, keeping things in balance, and giving thanks to God for the abundant blessings. Investing time for, and resources to, my health – especially in the last year – has made the prospect of turning 50 this year wayyy less scary!

 

 

How long have you been a member of Locomotion Fitness?

 

Since June, 2019 – starting with the hot yoga 26 program, then signed up for Park Circle Bootcamp in September.

 

 

Describe Locomotion Fitness in one word.

 

Best-in-class (that is one word, right?!?!)

 

 

What has been your favorite moment in the Loco gym?

 

I have two because I can’t choose: running a mile without stopping, and finally nailing box jumps!

 

 

What would you say to someone who is considering joining Locomotion Fitness?

 

Investing in and committing to your health is quite simply the best thing you can do. You add life to your years and years to your life, and you will get way more out of it than you put in! I have sampled many programs and gyms over my years, and I have never found one where I feel more at home, and even “at ease,” while I know I am improving in every way possible. The coaches provide all of the tools, encouragement, support, and structure to ensure your success. At Locomotion, I feel valued as an individual, and not just as a name on a membership roster.
