Mark your calendars–we are going to have a swingin’ good time for Septermber’s Super Saturday at Wild Blue Ropes! Join us on Saturday, September 28th from 4-6 pm and we can climb the ropes course together!

Saturday WOD

1.) “Bunk Beds”

In partners, 5 rounds with a 35:00 cap:

  1. 16 Deadlifts 225/155
  2. 20 Burpee Pullups
  3. 400m Run Together

Workout Goal: Complete

Levels Consideration: Deadlift, UB Pull

Strategy & Briefing: Breathe & Brace workouts are some of the toughest to pace & get through — a partner should make it easier. Keep your sets small for both the Deadlifts & Burpee Pullups to avoid digging too deep a hole too early.  Doing singles, back & forth, on both movements can get you through this quickly. The run is done together so have the slower runner pace it and the stronger runner begin the next set of Deadlifts. Take deep and consistent breaths throughout to support your pacing, don’t leave your partner hanging.
