The October business owner’s meet-up will be this Monday, October 7th at 7:00 pm at the Loco Garage Gym. See you there!

The first Monday of each Month we will meet up either at the gym or a local restaurant. Each meeting will have a specific topic (complete with handouts and action steps!) relating to being entrepreneurial business owners. The purpose of these meet-ups is not to sell to each other but to trouble-shoot together, brainstorm ideas and talk about what works, what hasn’t and what might! I’ll make sure to post the location we choose each month ahead of time – but go ahead and mark your calendars for the first Monday of every month at 7pm. Tuesday WOD

A.) “Slap Chop”

For Time:

  1. 10 Strict Hand Stand Pushups
  2. 100/80 Cal Row
  3. 20 Strict Ring Dips
  4. 50 Hand Release Pushups
  5. 1 Mile Run

Workout Goal: <30:00

Levels Consideration: UB Push, Rings, API, Running

Strategy and Briefing: Long Chipper-style workouts are often mis-paced right from the beginning — starting off too fast.  The HSPU or variation should be done in manageable sets. This Breathe & Burn workout will catch you quick if you get too eager.  Break up the pressing movements early & often, to sustain quality & pace through all 3 sets. If you hit a wall early on in the pressing movements, this will be a long workout. As you get into the Mile Run you can pick the pace up a bit and finish strong.  Don’t hold back here.
